How the proposed Lower Thames Crossing affects Shorne Village
The Eastern Southern Link (ESL) road will cut a swath of destruction through the village of Shorne, in a cutting below Peartree Lane, requiring the compulsory purchase of a number of properties. The ESL route then continues north and swings round the village to the north passing within 300m of Shorne Primary School.
